About Hellraiser (1987)
Frank Cotton solves an ornate puzzle box called the Lament Configuration, hoping it will unlock new pleasures. Instead it summons the Cenobites, scarred beings from another dimension led by a calm, pale figure with a grid of nails driven into his head. Frank is torn apart, but a drop of his brother's blood later brings him back, and his lover Julia starts luring men home to restore him. When Frank's niece Kirsty gets hold of the box, she comes face to face with the Cenobites' leader, who describes them as "demons to some, angels to others."
